“Service above Self” 

Rotary International District 9600 Ltd RYLA Committee (RYLA) is part of the worldwide community and humanitarian organization, Rotary International.

Rotary provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

As you will see from visiting other sections of this website, RYLA provides an intensive 4+ day residential style leadership course. The participants will take away many new skills with them ranging from dispute resolution to those associated with individual personal growth.

RYLA values greatly the connections and relationships it develops with the broader community and specifically corporate and philanthropic segments.

 

How can you support RYLA?

If you wish to assist the RYLA program, you can become involved by either:-

  • Direct financial support, by which your organization would be recognized as a sponsor in our printed and electronic material that is distributed throughout our District
  • Examples of in-kind support are listed below, which would be recognized also in our printed and electronic material that is distributed throughout our District

Examples of “In-Kind” support


RYLA would like to foster links with like-minded individuals, businesses and organisations who may be able to support our program through fund-raising and the provision of in-kind support. In-kind support may include:

  • Introductions to keynote speakers in various professional or technical fields to enhance the program

  • Assistance in providing media material or promotional opportunities to increase the reach for the RYLA program

 

  • Introductions to key corporate end users that would benefit from the RYLA course

 

  • Access to venues that can provide first class facilities while allowing the provision of the RYLA experience at a reasonable cost.
