“RYLA challenged me to face my fears, to
step out of my comfort zone, and gave me
the confidence to deal with unfamiliar
situations and deal with different
(or difficult!) people. Above all, the personal
and professional development I gained from
the RYLA experience was immense.”

Apart from meeting lots of fabulous and talented people who have now become my friends, RYLA helped me realise that even though I’m quiet I am still a respected leader.”

RYLA 2004 was a life changing experience for me. It was the first time since!I left school that I realised how much fun you could have as an adult at camp! For me,!!RYLA meant three very important things:!
The People – everyone at RYLA was there for different reasons,!but we all seemed to be on the same wavelength right from the start. ! I was able to form new friendships and a support network for my every-day life.
The Program – I’m not sure I’ve ever been through such an intense,! valuable and fun four days. All the activities related directly to our everyday lives as young adults – core values, personality types, teamwork, communication,! !goal setting, time management, and leadership, all while having a lot of fun.
Rotary – Our district was able to bring three Nations together,!! creating international friendships and understandings. RYLA also gave us all the next generation of Rotarians, the opportunity to learn about Rotary.
